 RACES AND CLASSES

The World of Simvor has several strange races.  Your Race may grant you certain natural abilities, and determines which die you use to determine your Hit Points.

Ability Scores

 ABILITY SCORES

So, inspired by various B/X and BECMI clones/variation (including Labyrinth Lord, Mutant Future, and White Star), we are going to have the normal 6 ability scores, and the normal bonuses/penalties that we are used to.

Just like our Leauvalar game, please roll 3d6 a total of 6 times and assign these scores to the ability of your choice.

PLEASE NOTE:  In this game, Race and Class are seperate and either one may have certain ability requirements.

That means that I can recycle these charts I stole from the Labyrinth Lord book:

What the heck IS the World of Simvor?

Look, I've been enamored of Thundarr the Barbarian since I was a kid.  A few years later, I learned that Gamma World existed.  From its description, it sounded like D&D style adventure in a Thundarr-like world, sans magic.

I've always been drawn to the weird/dark fantasy toys, cartoons, and comics.  Things like He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (and their several lines of knock-off toys), The Other World, and Sectaurs to name just a few.

Simvor is a sort of celebration and amalgamation of all this weird crap.  There are men, mutants, and monsters.  There are swords, magic, lasers, and robots.  There are gold & jewels, but also forgotten magical artifacts and weird alien technologies.

So if you dig the idea of daring-do adventure in a mutated alien fantasy world, then the World of Simvor should be a Saturday Morning dream come true!
